Spicy Carrot Soup

Ingredients
· 2 Teaspoon(s) olive oil 
· 2 onions cut into rings 
· 17.5 Ounce(s) carrots in strips (500 grams)
· 1 large potato diced 
· 1/2 red chili pepper de-seeded and fnely chopped
· 1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) powdered ginger 
· 1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) curry powder 
· 1 Teaspoon(s) sugar 
· 1 Liter(s) vegetable stock 
· 1 Pinch salt 
· 1 Pinch mixed peppercorns 
Directions
Step 1: Heat the oil in your pressure cooker and gently cook the vegetables, add the chili pepper and spices and pour in the stock.

Step 2: Close the cooker in accordance with the instructions and set the main control valve to level II. Place on a high heat. When the first ring becomes visible, reduce the heat. The cooking time of around 8 minutes begins when the second ring becomes visible.

Step 3: At the end of the cooking time, release the steam according to the instructions, shake once and then open. Puree the soup and serve with strips of vegetable if desired.
