What shipping options do you offer?

We understand how important it is for your packages to arrive promptly, so we offer 3 levels of delivery service to most destinations. Please note that your order may take up to 3 business days to process.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Select your choice of shipping method, keeping in mind that the shipping charge is based on the total cost of your order. You will have this option in your Shopping Cart during checkout. Shipping cost is calculated before taxes, gift certificates and certain promotions. Extra fees may apply for large or heavy items.

How will I know when my order ships?

A confirmation will be sent to the email address you supplied, and will include the shipping date and tracking number, for all but some Super Saver shipments.



Can I ship parts of my order to different addresses?

We’re sorry, but not at this time. You will need to place separate orders for multiple addresses.

We’re sorry, but not at this time. You will need to place separate orders for multiple shipping methods.



How long will my package take to arrive at its destination?

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. We strive to keep our inventory stocked and up to date, and to pack and ship orders within one or two business days of their receipt. We very often fulfill orders on the day they are received. If a product is on backorder, we will contact you with information related to the expected arrival date.



Do you ship to international destinations?

We only ship within the U.S.A.



Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other US Territories?

We are able to ship to these locations using the US Postal Service's standard shipping method. Please see the above chart for prices and details and please allow 2-3 extra days for delivery to these locations.



Do you ship to APO or FPO addresses?

Yes, we do. Standard shipping is the only method available for APO and FPO addresses. Please see the above chart for prices and details.



Will you ship to a P.O. Box?

Yes, the only shipping method available to a P.O. box is standard shipping. Please see the above chart for prices and details.



How does shipping work for items shipped directly from supplier?

Also called ‘drop shipping,’ ChefTools works with several suppliers to have selected items sent directly to you. Only our Standard shipping method is available on these items. Any additional items in your order will be shipped separately via Standard shipping. If you would like to have the additional items sent by a different shipping method, a separate order must be created.

Shipping costs are based on the entire value of your shipment. Extra fees may apply for large or heavy items.



Can I change the “ship to” address after a package has shipped?

After a package leaves our warehouse we no longer have control of it. Depending on the shipping method, we may be able to provide you with a tracking number plus the date shipped, etc. You will have to call UPS or the United States Postal Service for help with locating the package and changing the destination address.

Is there anything I should know before ordering food items?

Yes, by ordering any food item(s) from our store you are agreeing that we are not responsible for damage to them due to weather conditions.
