The Shun Higo Nokami Personal Folding Steak Knife is perfect to use as an elegant pocket knife or personal steak knife. Its original design dates back to over 150 years, and is considered the first Japanese pocket knife. Used by Japanese business men as a fruit and cheese knife for over a century, today it is considered the perfect personal steak knife. The razor edge provides the cleanest cut possible, providing superior texture and flavor from your steak. It comes with a protective leather sheath and black lacquer presentation box, making it ideal for use in restaurants. The blade is made with VG-10 stainless steel. And ebony-black PakkaWood handle is beautifully accented with brass bolsters and end caps. Shun Knives can be sent back to the Kai, USA facility in Portland, Oregon to have the factory edge restored to the blade, for the life of the knife, at no cost to you. Hand washing is recommended. Limited Lifetime warranty. Blade Length: 3-1/2-inch Closed Length: 4-3/4" Overall Length: 7-1/2-inch
What’s the correct way to pronounce Shun?
Say, "Shoon" (rhymes with moon). Shun is the Japanese concept of eating fresh, local, and in-season, when food is at the peak of perfection.
