on their own farms using family recipes.

showcase of the delicious discoveries that we have made. We also
introduce you to the skilled artisans that have made these foods
possible.
For six years, RITROVO founders Ron Post and Ilyse Rathet lived
in Italy, studying, traveling, and researching indigenous foods
and wines. Along the way they met and gradually built relationships
with talented, small-scale producers throughout the country. Ilyse
and Ron also developed a passion for the products that they found.
These foods came to "tell a story"— of centuries-old
traditions, the value of diversity, and the implications of supporting
small farm production.
