The Shun Classic Pro 8-1/4 inch Deba Knife combines tradition and style in one exceptionally sharp and durable knife. The blade is made of corrosion and rust-resistant VG10 steel and features a very sharp 16-degree single bevel cutting edge. Such an extreme edge is easy to re-sharpen on a whetstone. The body of the blade is weighted for precision and features an artful graffiti design that is beautiful useful - it reduces friction between the knife and food, preventing food from sticking to the blade. The handles are D-shaped and made of PakkaWood, for beauty and comfort. Use the Deba Knife, a traditional Japanese blade shape, for heavy-duty kitchen tasks like preparing cuts of meat, or dicing a multitude of vegetables.
