I agree with Adam. The lids come off easily but stay on securely, they stack nicely, and I like the feel of the lid action on and off better than the clear topped ones which I also tried.

I love these little sturdy, clean looking steel cans for storing all my herbs and spices. They are easy to use, air tight and block any light which can dull the flavor of herbs very quickly. The large opening makes measuring simple and the indented base allows for easy stacking. I highly recommend.
