An on/off switch prolongs battery life, and another switch allows you to measure heat in F and Celsius temperature readings. The easy-to-read LCD face instantly displays temperatures from minus 40 to 302 degrees F, or minus 40 to 150 degrees Celsius. The black sleeve protects the stainless steel stem, and also displays standard temperatures.
