The Microplane Premium Classic Medium Ribbon Grater grates ingredients in both directions, saving time and effort. It is one of the coarsest Microplane blade styles. Use on chocolate, soft cheese, and carrots. All Microplane Premium Classic series graters feature ergonomic, soft-grip handles and non-scratch end tabs. Microplane graters and zesters feature tiny razor-like edges formed by a process called photo-etching in which holes are dissolved with a chemical.
