Maletti is often mistaken for a 10-, 12-, or even a 15-year Balsamic because it is made from carefully chosen basic ingredients without additives or enhancers of any kind. In an innovative aging process, the vinegar undergoes an accelerated yet regulated evaporation in former wine barrels of French Allier oak. The six-year process results in a Balsamic vinegar with extraordinary density, aromaticity, and depth of flavor as well as a clean, delicate finish. |
