The Cuisipro Accutec Coarse Rasp Grater is the second of three in a collection of rasps for everyday grating needs and is designed for soft cheeses, vegetables, raw horseradish, egg and chilled butter for pastry. The grater's protective cover can be used for measuring and catching food. The ergonomic handle and non-slip end makes grating easy. Accutec uses a process called acid etching that creates extremely sharp razor-like edges. Other acid-etched blades only etch on one side while Accutec etches on both sides. 30% is etched on the top of the blade while 70% is etched on the bottom. A perfect surface for uninterrupted grating where food virtually glides through the blades, Accutec graters and shavers work more efficiently than conventional stamped graters.
