Carefully supervised, the process yields a bold and fruity olive oil with several regional and national awards to its credit. Produced in the Lazio region of Italy (central west coast) in the ancient Etruscan town of Blera. Hand-harvested by the Colli Etrushi Cooperative. D.O.P. stands for Denominazione d'Origine Protetta (Protected Designation of Origin) and is a classification system recognized by the European Union authenticating the unique qualities of gourmet food products based on their geographic region of origin.
