Designed for roasts, oven and barbecue, candy making and deep frying, CDN DTP482 Programmable Probe Thermometer Timer is pre-programmed with 6 meat/poultry choices and various doneness temperatures based on USDA safe cooking temperatures. The TASTE mode will not allow you to undercook when it is not safe to do so. Both the taste chosen and the temperature will be displayed during cooking. Simply insert the 5-1/2-Inch stainless steel probe into the food. Place the food in the oven or barbecue and close the oven door (or grill cover) directly over the 3 foot sensor cable. Alert sounds when food is done. Counts up & down with a dual progress display. Counter top, magnetic surface mount or hanging option.
