It works - but it's overpriced for what it does and hard to clean.
Get a Bialetti stovetop espresso e.g. the Bialetti Moka Express SKU: 07-0055 02 which is less than 1/3 of the price; heat the milk in a container in the microwave and beat the milk with a whisk (whip) such as SKU: 06-0041.
You get the same large bubble-foam that espresso connoisseurs call "diswasher soap" (see this steaming guide how to do better: Steaming Guide) but at least you did not spend close to $100 for a device that is hard to clean.
And this is the most important issue with the Mukka: Anything that comes in contact with milk needs to be thoroughly cleaned with a detergent - which in turn is a no-no for any espresso machine. An espresso machine cleaned with soap needs to be run at least twice with used grinds to get the taste out.
